DATES: Thursday April 5th 9AM through Sunday April 8th 4:30PM

FORMAT: The format is subject to number of entries.  Entry is expected to include 3 preliminary round robin matches for each team. The tournament is constructed for 3 groups consisting of 8 teams each, where each group is divided into two 4-team divisions. The top 2 teams in each division advance to the Semifinals. The Round Robin and Semis are 9-game pro sets and timed to 45 minutes each.  The match length of the Final may be longer depending on the number of entries.  Note: The format is subject to change at the discretion of the Tournament Committee.

ENTRY DETAILS: Includes all Court Fees, Marking Fees, Thursday Social, Friday Cocktail Party, Sunday Brunch, Tournament Gifts, Continental Breakfasts, Light Lunches, Snacks, a Peter Bender Hug, and probably a hangover. A $550 value, all yours for an Entry Fee of $212!  If you would like to attend the Saturday Tournament Dinner add $112. If you would like the official Boast Cherry Blossom Tournament Shirt add $45. The entry fee is non-refundable after April 1st.

TOURNAMENT DINNER: The tournament dinner will be held at the City Tavern Club (Downtown DC/Georgetown).  The price of this year’s dinner is a $112/person.

GUESTS: Additional guests are certainly welcome all weekend. $35/guest for the Friday Cocktail Party and $112/guest for the Saturday dinner.  Otherwise everything else is free! (Note: Do/Carey have been known to pay guests to cheer for them!)

ENTRY DEADLINE: March 30 at Noon. Entry is limited to the first 24 Teams.

HOUSING: We would be happy to find you a place to stay should you require one. Otherwise, check out the Hotel links to the left, as there are some great deals that weekend!

START/FINISH: Play is scheduled to start Thursday and you will almost certainly play a match Thursday. As always, we will do our best to accommodate your scheduling requests, but realize they are indeed just requests and not all of them can be met with such a large field. The last final should be done by 4:30PM on Sunday, please schedule your trip accordingly. We will try to schedule those Finalists with a plane to catch before the others, however it’s not always possible.  Locals may start play on Wednesday night.

HANDICAPS: As this is a handicap tournament, all players are requested to have a non-volatile, RTO verified handicap. Those who do not have an acceptable history of play will be subject to the evaluation of the Tournament Directors and may not be allowed to enter.
