The Price family are kindly hosting the honorable Price Cup this weekend at Prince’s Court. The Price Cup is a Prince’s Court members only tournament for players handicap 20-40. This is a level tournament and is a good test for these players to see how they stack up against their peers in the club. Come check it out! The field has been set and the schedule is as follows:
Saturday morning starting at 10am
Group 1:
Ivan Blas
Jake McCray
Mark Philpott
Justin Stilwell
Each man will play 3 matches first to 8, 40 all game ball, no deuce
Starting at 2pm
Group 2:
Dave Hagigh
Wes Price
Alan Goulty
Danny McBride
Group winner determined by Matches won / Game Difference / Result
Sunday morning starting at 9am

Ryan Carey
Winner of group 1
Starting at 11am

Final as close to 1:30pm as time allows – best of 3, 6 game sets

I got about as lucky as a tennis player can get. Scores (as I recall them) were actually 6-4, 3-6, 6-5. Thanks to the Price’s for hosting a great event!
